Issues with registering for online case status at uscis page

hi guys,
I just received my Notice date(july 24th) letters for I-485 and I-765 on july 28th.And i tried to register online at USCIS page for online case status but for some reason it doesnot recognize my receipt number.It shows that it doesn't exist in the system.I am not sure it's too early to register for that services? Please give me your feedback.thank you.

It happens sometimes. I filed for my Wife I-485 and a I-765. The case for I-765 was visible online but for I-485 gave the error. Everything went fine and the day she got fingerprinted, the I-485 status appeared online as well.

I was so concerned initially that I made Inforpass and asked them the question and called the 1-800 number. Both said that ot happens sometimes.

My guess is that the case status becomes visible when application is fully entered and MAYBE I-130 which was previously approved is matched to the I-485 app. JUST MY THOUGHT and I ain't no lawyer.
