Issues with AP

Has anyone ever had any issues (personally or hear-say) while re-entering the US using AP. Can the immigration officer at the point of entry refuse entry even with a valid AP even if all other documents are in order?

Have traveled a couple times with AP. I use the US Citizen/Permanent Resident queue and its been quite smooth so far.

Advance Parole does not guarantee admission

Please note that Advance Parole does not guarantee admission into the U.S. Aliens with Advance Parole are still subject to the BCIS inspection process at the port of entry.

Thanks for the info. I guess I will wait another few months to see if I my 485 gets approved. Heck its been 11 years since I've been home, a few more months shouldn't hurt!
