Issues on TN Visa Renewal.

Hi to the group. I have a question and also a story about my last TN Visa appplication.

Last year ( my 6th renewal, 3nd for same company and position) I had some issues during renewal.

On my first attemp, I was rejected.
At Embassy, the Officer just told me that I was not qualified for renewal and that I need to reapply with a better letter.

I had to fly back to the US, using my tourist visa to enter and explain to Immigration officer that I was needing another work letter to reapply for my TN Visa, It was ok to Officer and I enter again to US.

I got another letter and reapply again. (pay again my visa fee and wait about a month for appointment: my I94 was for 6 months so I was "ok" to stay not to work..)

On my second interview, the officer took some time again, and finally was approved.... then I asked him if I need a better explanation on the letter about my duties or any other thing..... He told me that all my functions was more related to a manager than an Engineer and that my Job Title need to be changed for next time.

I am chemical Engineer and I have worked about 18 years on Supply Chain management, I included the word "engineer" into the letter as I read many years ago to do. I am not sure if I remove the word engineer and add manager I would have some issues during my next renewal. I think that something like "Production and Inventory Manager" is not a position for a TN visa, or is it?

My next renewal is on August, so I want to be prepared for this renewal and do my travel to Mexico more "relaxing"

Please, any comment or questions would be highly appreciated....

Thanks to the Team!!
