Hello Everyone
I have one issue with Contract Agreement that i need to discuss. I am currently on H1-b status and currently holding H1-b visa with my current employer. I have signed a Contract Agreement with them which states the non-compete clause in it. The non compete states that "after termination with my current employment, for 1 year, i cannot join any customer with similar business or nature of services. But between my vendor and my current employers's company there is layer that exists and vendor is approaching me to join their company as an employee. But Vendor has not made any direct agreement with my current employer and the vendor compnay is into different nature of business from my current Employers company's business.
Here is my question taking into consideration with the above scenario that i explained. How feasible it is to join Vendor's company as an employee. Am i violating Contract Agreement or clause with my current employer to join Vendor's company?. Kindly someone can help me to answer this question. It's really urgent and would help to take decision faster. Thanks in advance.
