Issue about Geting Interim EAD in Dallas

Is there anybody got Interim EAD at INS local office in Dallas? Could you share some more info here. Thanks advance!!!

we went to the dallas office to get our interim EAD and they told us they issue only if a case is pending in the local ofice.

I got my interim EAD in Aug(on 21st),from dallas dist office.
I took the ead receipt,old ead,and other documents(my lawyer
had send the copy of check written for filing ead).
I dropped the ead receipt in the counter and the guy called
me.He saw that my ead was about to expire within a week,
and so gave the interim ead for an year.
I do not know if the rules have changed now.

Did you get a token and went to a counter or just dropped it in the room inside?? Please let me know.

I dropped it inside the box that is attached to the door.That room is besides
the room where photos are taken.I do not know if they changed the policy.
