i have seen alot people here got approved right after they done the BIO(index fp, 1 photo, signuature)...
but i have done my BIO in MAY, but heard nothing.
 
WHAT IS YOUR LUD?AT LEAST LUD MUST CHANGE IN A FEW DAYS AFTER BIO DONE!

Having Bio done in theory is the last step before getting GC. ALthough, we have seen in this forum people getting another RFE without any reason. SOmetimes they just want to be sure how many times u left the country while your application was pending and where. They ask sometimes for copies of RTD if u have used it on the second RFE.

Personally, I did my Bio week and a half ago and I got approved 5 days later and two days after the aproval notice online it said that my GC has been sent already. What is weird is that I applied with all my family together and so far I am the only one that has been approved. Sometiems they process cases at random. Don't worry man...u are almost there. I am pretty sure that before september 15 u will here good news!...just be prepare, have beers in your fridge for the celebration.

my LUD changed after 3 days of BIO... after that. just nothing more.
i have never travel aboard. i been the US since first day i got here. by the way, i am the dependent of my parent who applied me as a benefitior.
 
I got my approval this past week when my bio is actually scheduled in mid September. Figure that out. There's no consistency to it. A friend of mine whose ND is one year before mine (my ND is July 2001) did his bio in July but haven't received an approval yet.

Yep...there's not an order at all. I jsut made a comment some minutes ago in a different thread to this guy that he was approved without doing BIo and I told him that actually Bio is needed before getting a GC. Since november of 2004 GC's have a new look and they need to take a front picture of the applicant for the card , all pictures like the ones we presented at the time of applying of asylum ( 3/4 front) can not be used anymore I think.

i got my GC AFTER BIO

ND: FEB 2001
FP : APR 2004
MEDICAL RECEIVED BY INS : july 2005
BIO : AUG 2 2005
LUD CHANGE : AUG 2 AND AUG 3
APPROVAL EMAIL : AUG 16
SECOND EMAIL : AUG 19 TELLING ME THEY SENT ME THE GC ON AUG 19

I emailed him a couple days ago. by then, he did not get anything yet. His ND is Jan 01.
