I need to have my file transfered from Miami to Arlington office. Though my local congressman office sent a request to Miami office to transfer my file to Arlington office (Current Resident) I would not like to sit indle so want to put in my efforts to get the file to Arlington. Just because of lack of information from USCIS I already lost 8 months (TD: 11/2003) while my file is sitting in Miami, FL and now since I know I dont want my file to sit in Miami for no useful purpose.
Please let me know If I can walk-in to Arlington office and request them to get my file transfered to their office. Any suggestions like what time to go there and what docs do I need to take along with me is greatly appreciated.
