Is W2 form required for Labor/GC?

I wanted to find out if one would need to submit W2 (tax returns) form for the Labor or for any other step in the GC process.

for Labor - no.

For GC (485) - yes.

sometime they sent RFE

My lawyer said it is not required but sometimes they may ask for it just to cross check.
