Is VSC really processing aug/99 cases?

A few days ago, someone (based on his/her phone call to VSC) posted that VSC was processing aug cases. Since then, I haven\'t seen any aug cases approved. Is VSC really processing agu cases or it\'s just a joke?

I tried to call VSC to see what\'s going on, unfortunately the line is always busy. If someone calls VSC again, would you please ask IIO regarding this? Thanks.

My case:
PD Sept 97, EB2 (LC), China
RD aug 6/99, ND aug 25/99
FP June 1/99.

I know your FP date June 1/99 is a typo which you probably
means June 1/00. But did you have your Fp taken on 06/01/00?
That\'s too early for most cases with ND like yours. Where
did you take your FP? Thanks.

Sorry for my mistype. My FP taken date is 06/01/00. Up to now it\'s
exactly three months. I called VSC one month ago, and was told that
they have received my FP results from FBI (or it\'s cleared). My FP was
taken at Philadelphia.

I called VSC last Friday. The IIO told me that they are processing cases with ND at beginning of August last year.
From the recent China/India visa numbers issue, they probably need to take care that at the same time, i.e. to approve cases with earlier PDs. It probably takes a while for them to do that.
If this guess is true, then we should see approvals some time from now, with all old PDs.

Any comments?
