Is visa required for Europe visiting for US GC holders?

Europe is huge, it has 1 big entity and 25-30 more countries, all different.
Croatia for example doesn't give a damn about your GC. If you're a US citizen - even worse - you'll have to have a visa!!!

It depends on which country you will visit... but as far as I know, the GC doesn't make a difference in lots of european countries... (if you are a citizen, that's a different story)

Where do you wanna go?

Visa requirements are governed entirely by the country of citizenship. There is one exception, Switzerland will allow GC holders to visit there without a Swiss visa.
Some countries also allow US GC holders to transit without a visa.

You will need a visa to visit the usual suspects, AKA Schengen states, you don't need one for Switzerland, (as long as you have the actual card in hand, stamp won't do), as far as the rest of the countries are concerned, isn't it advisable to check their web pages?

Besides I don't think this issue belongs here, you should be posting it in life after GC since we obviously don't know how/what the rules are after GC, not having received our approval.
