Seems like TSC on vacation,

NOoooooo Approved Fire Works or Approval Flood...

Seems like the numbers were out...In June 25-28 we had seens tons of approvals...not in the case of JULY....

Or EB Visa numbers are all gone for FY'07...

...guess we will have to wait till October and PRAY that we don't have another retrogression then.....:(

Another thing could be the FLOOD of new 485s pouring in since July 17..maybe they are too busy with that ..and discarded the old files till October or whatever....

It is almost certainly not the flood of new cases. Adjudications officers don't do the case intake - receipting, fee collection, data entry, etc., so the new cases will not affect AOs as much.

Also, almost all these cases will require FP scheduling, namechecks, etc. All these things take time, as in "months", not "days". These again don't necessarily have to be done by AOs, though they probably are.

What will be interesting to see is how older PDs of the new cases will cause them to be placed into the processing queue. Since USCIS agreed to accept all cases filed since July 1st, and since substitution LCAs were allowed since July 16th, there have to be cases that were allowed that would put them ahead of many cases filed earlier but with newer PDs. So, if there is a cut-off date in October, some of these new cases are going to benefit big-time.

Hmm...

Perhaps I can venture a guess. Did anyone notice a pattern over the past several weeks regarding approvals between the two service centers? It just seems like when TSC is going gangbusters on approvals, the NSC is oddly quiet, and when we see approvals being reported at NSC, it seems like the TSC approvals get reduced to a trickle. Maybe its just me.

For already filed applicants prior to 2004 Retro... June/July 2007. Some of us is considered to be LUCKY, being without any change in the law they got the GC

It least NSC approvals show visa numbers are still available/assigned.
But true, pattern is clear.

Another thing to keep in mind:

June and July visa bulletins kinda forced USCIS to approve cases at a fast pace - all those visa number suddenly vanished, so they had to show some results for it.

Now the July visa bulletin update and August bulletin indicate there will be no more visa authorizations. So they can relax a bit and point to the bulletin, saying "the bulletin says no more visas available, wait till October". Of course, in the background, they are still approving cases, although at a much slower pace.

I got my approval (from TSC) last night. I see a few other approvals.

Also, quite a few approvals might be "silent" visitors and/or not members of this forum.

Congrats Forrest_gump

Not even a single approval for forum members on 07/24/2007.
Visa numbers exhausted for 2007??
Please post more information regarding Infopass /IO experiences
