Is this true?

I think this is a rumor as well. It seems more like someone's opinion on the matter, or a conclusion. From what I've seen around I've been thinking similar: a something (FP etc) that triggers the approval means that the petitioned has still an interest, and gets approved. Older cases can be disregarded if no word from the applicant. Again this is only my opinion.

If this is true, the processing time in NSC should go forward fast instead of still in Feb. 2002.

ok... Our cases were filed in Nov 02. It was a non-concurrent case. We filed it after my 140 was approved. We got our approvals on 8/16/04.

Based on our cases, the first part of the rumor is true. Several concurrenly filed 485 cases with NDs earlier than ours are still in the pipe line in various stages. But the second part is not true. Our cases were older than 18 months when approved by we were not RFEd.

This Is Absolutely True!!!

My neighbor's babysitter's dogwaker's grandma's coffee-buddy has confirmed officially that this is in fact a true fact. They have decreed that everyone at Nebraska will work on I-485. Those people that don't know how to adjucate I-485's will be assigned support tasks like getting the starbucks coffee, and washing the cars of the I-485 adjucator. There is also strong movement to find every homeless person north of the Mason-Dixon line, and put them to adjudicating I-485's. You can take this to the bank ;)
