Hi,

    I have three years left on my H1B visa. I am at Maryland which comes under VSC and I shall be applying for GC(Inida) under EB2 category. I know I can\'t get GC within 3 yrs. I want to know atleast is this time sufficient for me to go the adjustment of status ( I-485 )so that I wouldn\'t have to go out of US after 3 yrs. Please let me know regarding this.

Most probably yes . With RIR etc. labor and I140 should be done
in less than 3 years . With the way Eb2 is currently the priority
dates are moving pretty well so you should not have any problems.
