Could you elaborate more about yourself. I mean something about your marriage - did you married before winning the dv or after? What about your educational qualification? Without giving us any information it will be difficult to speculate what is actually the problem.

Just relax man, we can at this time just make some speculations. To me they may be doing some background investigations about you concerning a late information you might have given to them.

Thank you for your answers, i will say that i won the lottery before i married and added her name by notifying Kcc and it was during the interview process i presented her filled DS-230 forms.i will also say that, i presented my GCE O Level certificate with good passes. My concern is, reading through many of the threads i found out that those who were placed under administrative processes were given some sheets which states one is under adm. process i was only told verbaly

This problem might have come from the late information about your marriage. These people hardly believe us (Africans), especially, when one finds himself in you situation. However, take heart and never cease PRAYING. Let me hope that you also presented the facts of your marriage (marriage cert, important marriage pictures with your partner, ie, before and during marriage) to the interviewer. I pray that the good Lord sees you this difficult moment of your life.

After your marriage, did you sent the forms ds-230 and dsp-122 on behalf of your wife, together with a copy of your marriage certificate to KCC? This is the standard way of doing it, but your quoted post above shows that you only presented ds-230 to the consulate after notifying kcc about your marriage. In what ways did you notified kcc?

I think the whole problem is about your marriage. If the embassy wants to pursue it further, they will send a member of their staff to come to your address to do further investigation into your marriage.

In Africa, the America embassy always suspicious of marriages after winning the dv lottery. Many past winners have been refused their visas based on engaging in fraudulent marriages. Read more warning notification from the US Embassy in Ghana. If you check some of these links, you will understand what I mean:
