Can we change the job after getting I-140 approval? I am working for Company A and on 8th year extension. They are filing my I-140 soon. Can I change the job after getting I-140 approval ? Is it OK if the new employer files my 485?

no, it is not ok. you can change your job after 180 days of applying the I-485. so without I-485 if you change your job you will lose your I-140.

You can change job though there are two issues:

1. Old Employer withdrawing I-140
2. Validity of 3 year extension granted on approved I-140

The second one is a grey area and chances of H1 transfer are good,

The frist one could result in loss of your priority date.
