Is it possible that I can go for a GC interview first at the consulate and then after a month my family go for an interview at the consulate. Do i have to be present or I don\'t need to be there.
One of my friends tried it in Johannesburg South Africa. He ended up flying his family.
Initially the consulate said that it is possible and when he went for the interview (alone) the consular asked him to bring his family to the consulate and didn\'t issue him the GC. He ended up flying his family at a short notice (expensive tickets). A week later he went with his family for the GC interview and they all got the GC.
My friend\'s may be an isolated case. But your idea is risky.
