Is this possible to transfer I-485 from one local office to another local office where I currently live? Do I need to write to the local office regarding my address change besides call Service line and filing AR-11? Any input is welcomed. Thanks!

U can't transfer automatically, you can only request an AR-11 and then it is up to them. Please be aware that this may increase your wait time for GC by leaps and bounds as most probably the first local office will not see your request till your turn arrives there, which in some cases can be up to 2-3 yrs (see Atlanta office timings). Then, they may transfer to your new local office which may have its own queue.

Suggest you bite the bullet and attend the interview at the current local office, even if it means you have to travel.

It is possible. You need to write to the current local office about your change of address. And request the change of local office.
