Strange situation!!!!!!!
I am waiting for I 140 approval and now what happens to I 485 case which I have already attended the Dist office interview.
I am so frustated with the USCIS why they transfer to Dist offices and why they call back for interview.
Any ideas are welcome.

I had my case transferred to Miami on May 14,2004. Never arrived to Miami office. I visited local office several times and still they say file is in Texas. I wrote to Texas and they say file is in Miami. Called 800 number and got transferred to Imm Officer the only thing they can do is sent a case status request to Miami. In their system it is showing Miami is requesting the file since November 2004. Do not know what else to do. I do not have the slightest idea where my case is? Case status online show fingerprints received 07/14/2004. When will they expire? Any ideas.

I am sorry to hear of your plight. I think you need to get in touch with a Senator or Congressman from your area. TSC and the Miami office need to be held accountable for the mess they have created. My case suffered a similar fate as yours but last month an immigration officer at TSC confirmed that the cases are in TSC and not in Miami. If you call the NSC and talk to a representative and not an officer, they will just look at the online update and tell you that the case is in Miami. Only an officer at TSC can confirm whether the case is in TSC or not.
I don't think you should waste more time on this. Try to get help from a Senator and Congressman otherwise the TSC and/or Miami will keep playing this game with you.

I have just talked to Imm Officer at Texas Service Center. I know it because after calling 800 hundred number I heard Texas Service Center Office "X" how may I help you? Officer was very nice heard my explanation and told me she was going to email Supervisor to see what was happening to my file and to please call back again in about a week for follow up. I hope that this may help somehow . I will contact congressman anyways.
