is this different from name check?

I saw this message in my case status. Can anyone explain more on this? I mean is this just what its face value is or does it mean name check as well.

"Current Status: Fingerprints review completed.

Review of the fingerprints taken relating to this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS has been completed. blah blah.....

"

it's not a sign of Name check comeplted. This is just Finger print results.
