Is this consulate blunder !!

I had asked this question in separate thread, however latter i thought that this confusion of my merits a seperate thread ...

I have cleared my consulate interview, however i will enter US in first week of Feb.

After my interview, consulate did gave me the immigration packets with one corner cut and papers showing outside of the corner, there is also a paper attached on the front of packet which mentions my name and IV approval. However, there was nothing attached in my passport ( like during H1B the consulate attached the US VISA ). Is this the case normally ....

This is the way it is. Instead of having the visa stamped on the passport, its given to you in a seperate packet. Also your passport will be stamped (temporary PR visa) at the port of entry. So don;t worry its okay.
