Infopass is not just for stamping; it can be used to do a lot of things. But in your case, if the FP notice already has an appointment date on it, then you don't need an infopass. The notice itself is all you need to get in the local office.

I had a similar case. I went for infopass today.
First the officer said that my case is apporved(I-485). Then i told her that i recieved an FP notice remailed to me with a change of address acknowldegment dated oct 18th. She looked again and said then it must be pending and they are waiting for your interview notice to be sent out. After that i asked her when is the interview and she said that they have not scheduled it.
After that she clearly mentioned that your case is pending.
I called national 1-800 number and they say that case is approved.
Seems like nobody knows whats going on....

Both 1800 and officer got the just a little bit more information than you about your case. so when they saw that, they thought your case was approved which might or might not be the case.

Bsain: You can do anything with the infopass. just choose you have questions about your case and talked with the officer at least you could ask more questions than 1-800 number.

Just to let you all know that yesterday I had attempted for walk-in to ASC even though my Biometrics appointment is for 11/16/2005. My bad luck...receptionist did not allowed me in saying that they are full and no more walk-in please.

Can you guys updated with what happened to your LUDs of I-485, I-140, EAD and AP. For my case, the day i recieved the message, LUDs for all these applications got changed to Oct 18th.
Please note that my i_140 ,EAD and APi got apporved a long time back.

Just to update you all that today finished Biometrics code 3 at ASC. Will update you all for any changes in the LUD or message online.

In my case, it took about 2 weeks until they update the status
of my case with a message like "we received the review of FP
results" or something like that.

For my first FP (code 3), I never got a message change, but the LUD changed two days after FP.
For my second (5 months later, code 1), I got a LUD and message change 10 days after FP.

Hi Guys,

I am an eb2 category filer.I recently finished my Biometrics code 3 in Bay Area ASc on October 11 th 2005 and staus message changed on Oct 17 2005 with message

"On October 15, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made".

My 140/485 filed on March 2004 Still waiting,waiting........

There are 2 LUD on my I-485 after I did my Biometrics code 3 on 10/28/05 (Attempted earlier and original schedule is 11/16/05 for Bio code 3).

Below are LUDs on I-485:
10/20/2005 (document made based on ......etc).
10/28/2005 (Biometric code3).
10/30/2005 (don't know why ?).

Any ideas what could have been triggered LUD on 10/30/2005 (sunday) ?

I485 : RD 03-12-2004. LUD: 10/20/2005,10/28/2005 (Biometric code3),10/30/2005 (dont know why).
I'm born outside India.

I've got same LUD's right after biometrics done.
I've heard those who are not retro-affected got approved
right after biometric. In my case, I've had RFE and thus no
status changes after that. If you're not retro affected
and no RFE or something, it might be soon to get approved....

First after my Biometric 3 i got one LUD Changed on 10/17/05 and other one is today 10/31/05.Dont what it will be.
