Congratulations henri97.

Good luck to others.

I can’t sleep

I am so ecxited that I can’t sleep, so I call the uscis 800 (ph) # just to see if the recorded message would give me more info about my case. They actually gave more info than the email saying a “welcome letter was mailed” to me; so, in short, it says that my status has been changed to permanent resident. I still can’t believe it…. after so many years, since I arrived here in the U.S. … Lately, I was kinda thinking that this time would never come, but it seems that it is actually coming (although I will only believe when I feel the “green” in my hand).

So I can think of a lesson about all this – we got to keep the faith alive, and not lose hope. I wish everybody here good luck with all your endeavors.

I will continue to keep coming back here to check things out, but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the people that keep this site rolling, and its members. You helped me so much through some difficult times when I thought that I was alone in this world, away from my country (that I have a lot mixed feelings for); and family & friends…. Even feeling ambivalent somtimes about the U.S. in these difficult times too, I go to say "God Bless America"

Thanks a bunch everybody and good luck to all
