My company was bought by another company recently. I remain in the same project and do the same work. Does this count as changing of employer? Will I get a RFE? Shall I send a letter to CIS now stating the situation?
 
I'm also on the same boat. My lawyer's opinion is that it shouldn't matter if your I140 has been approved and your I485 has been pending for more than 180 days.

If its less than 180 days probably its a good idea to file an amendment to you I140. But lawyers opinion is that its not really required.
 
Thank you, SG_VA and mavishka. My 140 is approved and my 485 passed 180 days. I wonder if i need to ask attorney to file an amendment to my 485 application.
