Is there such a thing as a "safe" case number"?

Suppose it's 11***. Since there were 100,000 applications selected, can it be assumed that the number should get selected for an interview? f yes, what date do you think the interview is likely to take place?

Are you in the EU region? I'm not sure if 11xxx is current in October but most likely this year. With 11xxx you have to worry about nothing.
