Is there no start to BCIS's competence?!

So we got our 2nd FP notice in October. We went in early, and got FP'ed at Boston ASC on 11/1/03.

Today I get a letter from VSC, hand-written address, containing *another* FP notice, for the old date, with the 'Reschedule' bit highlighted.

So the good news is, at least a case officer at VSC has seen our case.

The bad news is, somehow our 2nd FP results got lost.

Has this happened to anyone else? I still have copies of the receipts we got after we did 2nd FP. I don't want to do FP again and add another four months onto the wait while the results work their way through the system.

Still, the other good news is that at least it looks like our address change is finally percolating through BCIS. Even if the case officer had to hand-write it in, at least they knew it.

BritGC,
Hope you will get Approval soon.
By the way, how did you do your address change, filed AR-11 ? or anything else?
Thank you

my A# mistyped

I am in a similar situation not exactly though. I called the FBI after my FPs and they confirmed it. They even spoke my name back.

But i find 3 months later, my A# was typed wrong. I checked every damn thing for 2 hrs on the notice and they seemed to be OK. I have a feeling the Barcode on the notice got screwed up and took the wrong number.

Maybe the same thing happened to u. why dont u check with the local BCIS office. they are the ones who can explain.
