Is there anything I can do?

I am 20 years old and I'm finding it very difficult to achieve my goals without papers.

I've been here for a total of 10 years. My mother has had a I-245 process going but so far her case hasn't even been looked at. The plan is that when my mother gets papers I can get mine. I fear this will just take too long. She has had her process for over 6 years now and hasn't gotten a thing out of it (aside from being able to get a driver's license). Hell I don't think immigration has looked at her case.

I can't get a good job and I can't afford to pay out of state college tuitions anymore. I can't even drive my car anymore. I don't know what to do.

I don't want to marry for papers.

Is there anything I can do?
 
At this point, marry or find some other way to move up!! I got friends who excel even when they are illegal.

God be with you, still keep on pushing when there's a will there's a way !!
 
I've been thinking of moving to canada and apply for papers there..I've heard it is easy there.

This was 6 years ago or so, and frankly I am un-educated when it comes to immigration and foreign policy.

I was thinking maybe I could apply fo asylum? I came in here legally (with a visa) but instead of going back to my country I stayed here.
 
Nothing is Right or Wrong

Dear friend .....................just Do it . nothing is right or wrong actually. if it works for u and u can get papers do it . it's ur future , u r young (20 years,right?) use ur brain and pick the best option for u . I know there r different types of people who will have different opinion but u should do what u think is right . thats it . Get it done .
