Guys:

When I landed earlier I never submitted "Goods To Follow" list. Now I will have to pay customs on everything including car.

Is there any way around? How much is the duty?

Thanks a lot.

Hey Mayank

I am surprised you did not submit the "goods to follw" list , I am sure you know everything about it . Then what happened ..

You do not have to pay duty
It is GST and PST - 15% of the cost probably

The thing is that I entered in 07/00 and at that time I didn't had car in my name and didn't care much abt that or actually didn't know also much abt that. I just entered back on 2 days on 04/26/04 and they charged me CAN 807 $ for car as they put 10K value of my car but they didn't charge me anything on any other stuff including laptop, camera or other household things.

Actually US customs checked me throughly before entering Canada for money and they opened most of my things and checked my status and all that.

Anyway I definitely paid 600+ $ more in Car as it should have been 182 $ and not 807 $.
