Hi All,
Is there any relation between FP1 and FP2? The reason I am asking this question is, I did my FP1 in November 2002 and my attorney says my second FP is in queue( Don't know what it is?) and I will recieve notice soon(Don't know when?). But I find in this forum many people filed after my case has have gotten their second FP . What is the basis for scheduling second FP?

WAC-02-172-*****
No FP2 or RFE

My friend triggered his 2nd FP by calling them and telling them that his address is changed and asked them to update it. Within weeks he got his 2nd FP notice. This may work for you as well.

I would suggest not to change the address just for FP.
It may be a coincidence , that I updated my new address ( address change was already notified by my lawyers earlier) and it triggered my transfer to a local office for an interview.
I would advise you send ina fax enquiry to notify them of the expiry of your finger prints or going to expire fps
They expire 15 months after you first did them.
That might trigger approval if your finger prints are valid still or second set of finger prints.
I am not a lawyer and neither claim to be one ( even in my dreams ) :)
The above information is a result of spending a lot of time and absorbing a lot what the gurus say on this forum.

I just saw u did your FPs in NOv 2002. so they are already expired.
you could just send in an fax enquiry.

Thanks cashew and al_aos for reply.
I did call 800 number once and sent fax twice, wrote to senator and got back reply they will schedule in 30 days and even Attorney called them twice and has been told they will schedule in 30 days and now it is over 60 days since CSC said 30 days and every time we inquire only LUD changes, but no FP2. I am running out of options to inquire.
are there any guys with similar situation?

my situation is quite similar. I sent faxes, called. my lawyer did the same. Only one time after one of the faxes, LUD changed, but no 2nd FP. In May I got a letter from CSC saying that my case was with an officer and officer needs to be given sufficient time and I may not hear about my case for 45 - 60 days. Now, it is 135 days.

max2k1 ,
Nice joke. You are right, title should have been at least "Is there any time relation between FP1 and FP2? "
