Is there any one experience with Transfer cases please help!!!!

Dear Friends,
Case transfered from Vermont to Hartford CT on May 30th, Thats waht IIO told me but I have not recieved any letter or notice. please advise me that from whom I am suppose to get the Letter Directly from Vermont or INS Local Office.

You will get transfer notice from vermont (VSC). For me it took around 7-8 days after transfer (checked thru AVM) to get the notice. And you will get interview notice from local INS. No idea about how long is the wait at Hartford. All the best.

After recieving the notice did you call INS office or they called you, for Interview, did you finish your INterview or still waiting? I am kind of confuse as some one told me that my lawyer will get the Notice and INS will send you the Interview date.

Approved local transfer case...
my status - 04:04pm Jun 8, 2001 EST

I went for interview on June 6 at Hartford. It lasted for 10-12 minutes and it was indeed breez through. Standard questions (employers in the past, H1 timeline etc). I was asked for employer letter, passport. However, the person who interviewd me said several time, what is the problem in this case, unless there one they don\'t send it to local office. Finally she did verify H1 & employer timeline and decided to approve.

I was carrying following documents -

- employer letter
- original (if not then copies) of all H1s, I-140,
  I-485, EAD, Labor
- all tax returns
- certificate: birth, nationality, degree
- reference letters from employer who are mentioned in
  the labor certification

Wear a suit (or some professional clothing), stay calm, smile (be not too obivious)

I was told card will arrive in 6-9 months.

I never called the local INS. I received my interview notice (lawyer gets a copy too) 2 weeks after the transfer (Newark is fastest in sending out interview notices). I have interview at Newark tomorrow i.e. 9th June, Will let you know about my experience tomorrow. Infact there are 5 users on this board who have interview tomorrow with me !

If you have changed your address recently, better follow up with lawyer.

I want to ask few more questions, like when she asked you that what is the problem in this case, is she talking to herself or she is asking from you. And how many people interviewed you.

Please give me a details, was your category is EB3 or some other, also are you a computer graduate or some other field.
