I'm at the resignation point now.
It's looks like I will have to wait 2 or 3 more years to get my GC.
This whole process is unfair, stressful, painful and what is worse there is nothing I can do to make things right.
Priorities Dates will advance month by month or maybe will be retrogress another year.
This year I have set my mind to wait until Sep and renew my EAD, and the same for 2007.
Hopefully, someday on 2008 someone will look at my 485, but for now the WAIT will continue.

Do not lose hope ...

moroni,

I along with countless other immigrants feel your pain. We are being unjustly punished. As you said, there is very little any of us can do to change the situation immediately but we cannot afford to lose hope. Hope is the only thing that we have total control over. No one can take away our hopes and aspirations. They may try to destroy them but they cannot take them away if we don't give up on them ourselves.

As impossible as it may seem. Lets start this new year with renewed hope. Lets try and fight this system. Lets support legislation to resolve the retrogression problem. Lets also enjoy the good things in our lives. Lets be thankful for everything we have. Lets start living our lives instead of trying to control everything in it. Above all, lets all stick together and help eachother through these difficult times.

Well said, because hope is a good thing to have.
Watch "The Shawshank Redemption" if you have not yet. This movie proves that hope is one thing that we should never loose.

Wonderful movie

I totally agree with you Saras , hope is the only thing we have control over and we should not let that go . We should focus on the now ang enjoy what we got instead of thinking too much about when the wreched GC is going to happen .

Thanks Saras.

Dear Saras,

Your email brings hopes and courage. Very nicely written, indeed.

Are the Dates per the feb visa bulletin

Moroni,
Are the dates out per the feb visa bulltein. I did not see anything on the forum which suggested that the feb visa bulletin is out. However if it is out then what is it in that feb visa bulltein that suggests such that EB3 will take another 2 years based on your PD.
Please Advice

Thanks for yours motivating words saras.
I don't going to surrender to this @#$$%$ process I will fight until they got tired of me.

To answer your question khadash :
This process is a lottery, is nearly impossible to guess what will happen with the priority dates. They will move forward or backwards, who knows.
Is really amazing and fustrating that people with PD 99 are still waiting for their GC. Could you imagine such a mess? There is no FIFO or LIFO process, it just like a lottery.
Let's see who will guess the wining numbers.

Let us have hope & effort.

I viewed this movie just now as I got it now from local library for a hold on it. An excellent movie suggestion. Thanks for that.

so here is my story

I have been working for this company for past 4 years since I applied my GC, so far I am the only Indian/immigrant worker, well recently our company went shopping and acquired a company in B'lore and now they would like to outsource some jobs to India, they are looking at me to go their and setup a lab, I recently had been to Bangalore and I am really excited to see the opportunites their.

so in this couple of weeks I need to make my decision, ofcouse my GC process can continue, but I don't think I am going to be here when I get that, yaa my PD June 2002,

so I guess I am giving up on my hopes, bcz itz not worth compare to the sacrifises that we make, for some they are lucky it does not effect them, so itz easy to say not worry too much, I have been in this country for 8 years now and I feel itz time to move on before itz too late
