is there a problem with my case/ please help

My baby is a USC. After we got married, we filed I-130 AND I-485 and EAD. We never filed I-693 and I-864. I received an my A# and renewed my EAD 2times. Also didn't receive NOA after filinng I-130 and missed fingerfrints request for I-485. We filed the pactage in September 2003 in New York NY Do you think There is there a problem or delay with my case and how can I get my fingerprints taken for I-485. Any help or coments is greatly appriaceted I am very desperate Thanks and best of luck on your jurney :)
 
Is the fact that your baby is a USC has anything to do with your case? ('coz I'm a bit confused)
So who is applying for AOS now? And who is the sponsor?

You should call 800 number or schedule InfoPass, it shouldn't take that long, you still haven't received NOA after waiting for over 2 and a half years!

Did you change your mailing address?
 
Huh?? :confused: :confused: Isn't it supposed to be sent to your home instead of your lawyer?

Your lawyer has no right to refuse to tell you anything about your own case!
 
In fact when a G-28 is submited when the case is filed, the USCIS sends 2 NOA's (copies) one to the applicant/beneficiary and one to the lawyer...Maybe yours got lost in the mail?
 
Yea I think so, that's why I asked brunette1130 if she has changed her mailing address.

brunette1130, do you have your receipt #? (If you don't you should get it from your lawyer) Call the 800 number to see if you can get any status.
 
Yes i do have my receipt# for I-130 and I-485 On the USCIS web site it is stating that they sent me fingerprint fee request notice ( which my lawyer might have receied and never forwaded it to me) I sent the fee then I didn't get any reply. Is it normal that we have been waiting over 2.5 years and still no interview:(
 
When did you send the fee?

It is NOT normal to wait for over 2.5 years for an interview. And in fact you don't even have your FP taken!

Is there any special reason that you must use this lawyer? If it's lawfully possible, I'd advise you stop using this lawyer and DIY.
 
princess kate where is your DO i want to move there because your signature shows you got AOS very quick you dont have to say but man thats pretty fast, my wifes DO is miami somebody said something about priority dates do you know anything about that
 
I was on J-1 ( didn't have 2 year rule). We are not using that lawyer anymore. On the USCIS websiteIt is showing that they are processing July 2003 and I filed September 2003. Do you think the web site is not accurate?
 
Website isn't reliable. Try to talk to a real person either by phone or schedule InfoPass, I think the first thing you need to ask is if they've received the FP fee that you sent & if they've sent out any Fingerprint appointment letter to you. *And double check with them to see if your mailing address is updated.
