Is there a new Travel policy in Germany?

Using AP for travel through Germany..

Guys,

I am travelling to India through Frankfurt/Germany using my AP. My H1B has expired a year back and I am on EAD and AP. I heard there is some new travel policy in Germany! Do I need a transit visa for going via and coming back thro Germany since I am using Advance parole?

I just talked to the german embassy and they confirmed it. It really sucks! :eek:
