Is the new law effective?

I believe today is the deadline for the new law. (10-16-00)

Any changes?....President is out to Mid-east.....today is the deadline?..what will happen to the new law if he is not here to sign it. will it be on hold?

curious...Any inputs?

i\'m not sure, but I think that since congress is not adjourned, if pres doesn\'t sign, then it automatically becomes law. if congress were adjourned, then it would be a \'pocket veto\' if pres didn\'t sign or veto the bill.

Hi All,

According to new law, Any h1b holder can change his/her job, Once he got his WAC number for his new employer h1b . Is there any chance of rejecting that new h1b after received your WAC number?. What are the things we need to taken care when we change your Job before completing your H1b transfer. Could anybody explain about this ?or kindly send a message to prabahar_I@hotmail.com
