Please help.

My H1B is valid from 6/2002 to 6/2008 and worked at company in california. I want to move to East coast and work remotely. My manager is OK with it and the company lawyer is amending H1B to reflect that Iam working from EAST coast. Received 45 day letter from Dallas Backlog center and company replied on June 20th. Its a RIR labor case, so hopeful of recieving labor in few months.

Can I remain in East coast on Amended H1B while my labor is still pending. Iam planning to immediately move to california once the labor is approved so that my company can apply for I-140. They will again amend the H1B indicating that I moved again from East Coast to California.

My remaining in east coast while the california labor is still pending is worrying me. Can some of you guys shed more light on this. Do you think that there will be any problems in labor/140/485 stage if I stay in east coast on amended H1B while my california labor is still pending.

Thanks a lot.
