hi everybody

my I 485 , based on marriage been pending since my interview on 28 nov 2006 ,,, at the interview the officer told us will hear from them within 90 days :mad: .... today my case been updated , :confused: coz they were no update since we had the intreview ... now almost 80 days !!!!!!!

do you think we will hear from them soon , either approved or what ever ??

any help appreciated

 
it's neither good nor bad,the officer may need more time or he forgot your case

I think you need to make an infopass appointment for checking the case status

if your case got stuck on name check, you should take action.
 
If you recently got an "update" one your online status, its worth waiting a few more days before rushing to make an infopass. Often an update can be the pre-cursor to getting approval, usually the pattern is you get an update, then 2-3 days later you get another with an email. If you don't get this 2nd LUD within a week, then an Infopass is probably a good idea.

I am curious, what kind of action we can take? :rolleyes: besides infopass?

I had an infopass about 3 months ago for the delay of my interview letter, the officer was not nice and didn't help me. So I start to feel infopass can't do much anymore. :(
 
I've sent a complaint letter to my DO's director after my 90 days were up. I am not saying you should go ahead and write yours today, but it sure got my case out of the name check status and my card shortly afterward. ;)
