Is telehone based status different from online message?

I tried accessing my case status through telephone (1-800-375-5283)

1. Will the status message be any different from the online message?

2. The telephone message says that due to some temporary problem they cannot access the system. This has been going on for the last 3 days. Anyone in similar boat?

Thanks,

Can you find your case in the online system ???

There have been some reports where a case goes "missing" -- typically it comes back with an approval.

So maybe you are lucky :)

My observations pertain to those cases that go missing on the online system ...

who knows, maybe you are starting a new trend here !!

Hope is what keeps us sane during this maddening wait !

Nothing to worry about this, I'm in the same boat. I had requested for inquiry for delay in processing of my case back in Nov '04. They sent a response to me and since then the online status states that 'On Nov XX they sent a response to my status inquiry ...' and the telephone system says that due to some temporary problem it cannot access my case.

BTW: I received my 2nd FP notice in begining of April and got my 2nd FP done on 22nd of April, but the status at online is stuck at 'We sent a response to your query ...' and telephone is still at 'Due to temporary problems we cannot access your case details'.

I would say just CHILL don't lose your sleep on this.

Thanks
