Is tamper with body temperature illegal?

custom and immigration agents are now
trained to detect SARS patients at border control.
I read on the internet someone suggest to
their parents visiting the USA that, in case
of raised body temperature, they take
Tylenol on plane 2 hours before passing
immigration inspection to save the trouble
of being detained and quarantined. Such things
are apparently immoral, hurting others as well
as selves. But is it also illegal?

If one can get away with it at the POE, I think you can argue on the basis that screening doest work. Some countries, including India, ask for a declaration at the time of entry. If you lie on the declaration, that could be a deportable offense. Maybe the BCIS will start to ask questions to incoming passengers.
