is second FP a must?

Hi,
Just wander if second FP is a must? Can somebody be approved
with only one FP even if from the first one gone 20 months?

If the time limit is extended to 20 or so months, or the officer approved the application without carefully checking the expiary of FP (does this happen at all?), then a second FP is not required.

Is there any one who received approval after the expiary of the first FP?

Some people are getting Early FP

Just inform you one of my friend got second FP before its expiry. His FP is suppose to expire on March 16 he got second FP notice in last week Feb. FP scheduled in 3 week March. His RD is in last week of Aug-2002

There is no uniform pattern on FP2

There is no uniform pattern on FP2. Some get approved much after FP1 expiry w/o FP2, and ofcourse some do FP2 at some time etc etc.
