Yesterday (2/18) my online status was changed to ...the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case....

I-485 WAC-02-047-5xxxx
RD : 11/xx/2001
ND : 11/xx/2001
FP1: 04/xx/2002 (took prints at support center)
FP2: 02/10/2004 (took prints at support center)
RFE: 01/15/2004 (online status updated to reflect issuance)
RFE: 01/30/2004 (replied by lawyer)
RFE: 02/09/2004 (online status updated to indicate receipt)
FP2: 02/18/2004 (online status updated to proc. resumed)

For some reason, perhaps my observations of other cases, it seems that processing resumed suggests that the case is now on the back burner. Am I being paranoid here?

it is a good sign friend. just relax and sit tight . u should be getting the good news soon. all the very best!

It means INS has received your FP results back from FBI and have updated their database. It doesn't mean anything beyond that. Well, the good part is you are done with your second FP and you now know for sure that INS has received your FP results

nov2k,

Processing resumed means NOTHING!

All it means is that INS has received fingerprinting results from the FBI, and they have entered it into their file system. Other than that there is nothing to do. Wait for your RFE before celebrating
