My sister was in US on a J1 and then she went to UK for two years she is now in India. Now she wants to come back to the USA on an H1,
She has applied for a J1 waiver. Should she send her original passport to the Indian embassy or will a xerox copy do.
I have read that the origianl passport should be sent for people who are US but is it required for indian applying for the waiver who are not in US at the present time.
