Is NWD asking for local PCC

Hi,

Recent CP'ers from DElhi. Is NWD strict about requiring for a local PCC. I have acquired a PCC from here, but may not have the time to acquire one from delhi, since from most of the review i have read, it seems they are not insisting upon it.

I believe they ask for it but if you don;t have it its okay. Did you get your local PCC from delhi and give it to them during the interview.

thats true they will just ask ....

and u tell them u live in the US and they do not bother ....

if u take the PCC from the RPO in India, then they may ask for local PCC .... if u take the PCC from the Indian consulate in the US, then local PCC is not the issue .....
 
What I had was a local pcc from RPO in Delhi.
And a pcc from the loca police station.
I did not have one from Indian Consulate here as it was taking too much time.
I had a letter from them that I have applied for the same.
I had to give all 3 at the counter.

Can someone tell me how long does it take to get the PCC from Indian consulate and when is the right time to apply for it ( Currently I have applied for I-140 and waiting for approval ) I come under Chicago consulate . Also I heard that we need to get some document from IRS showing that we have been filing our tax returns regularly . How to get that ?
