Is name check delay related to disclosing traffic tickcts on N-400?

I am wondering what is causing the name check delay for some people, but not others? Could it be the result of disclosing traffic ticket information in your application? Those who have experienced or are experiencing name check delays, please share your opinion.

I will start with myself. I disclosed 2 minor traffic tickets and my name check is still pending after my recent interview.

I think you should be fine. I mean i had my interview back in Feb 7th, 2005 , still didn't get oath but i heard the reason was a normal backlog that's all.

I was told at the interview that my NC was pending. And my fingerprint result is due to expire on 6/22/05, less than 3 months from now. Very frustrated. Contacted my congressman and senator's office. Not sure what they can do to help me.

Did you ask the interviewer about the status of the name check or the interviewer took the intiative to telling you about it?
