I have an Indian citizenship/passport, and currently in US on H-1B.
My wife was an Indian citizen, recently became a US Citizen, and holds a OCI card
We just had a son, and looking forward for a trip to India around thanksgiving. Is my son eligible for OCI if only one parent is a OCI holder and other is Indian citizen?

The travisa website is not very clear about this.
According to their website, the documentation requirements for OCI for minor include:
Copies of Parents US Passports or OCI Cards:
If you are sending an application for your minor child as an individual (not as a family), then photocopies of the parents OCI Cards or US Passports are required. If the parents OCI cards are copied, both information pages on the OCI card should be copied. If the US passport is copied, the following pages should be copied:

Copy of the information page. This page contains the picture and basic details of the passport.
Copy of the endorsement/amendment pages. On US passport books that end with page 24, copy pages 22, 23 and 24. On US passport books that end with page 28, copy pages 25, 26 and 27.

Copies of Parents Indian Passports and Proof of Renunciation:
If you are sending an application for your minor child as an individual (not as a family), then photocopies of the parents Indian Passports are required. The copies should be of the first 3 pages in each Indian passport and the last 2 pages of each Indian passport. If one parent or both parents are naturalized citizens; proof of renunciation for parents must be provided. Proof of Renunciation include a stamp in the Indian passport stating .Cancelled to due acquiring US/foreign citizenship. or a renunciation certificate. If parent(s) need to obtain renunciation certificate, please apply for renunciation certificate prior to submitting application for minor.

What is not clear is - what if only one parent is US Citizen/OCI Holder, while other is Indian citizen. Any ideas?
