is my reason of extension acceptable ?
The reasons for my I-94 extension:
1. my sister is still sick ( on disability for 1 yr w/ strange illness )
2. I'm waiting for my dad in Indonesia to come over raplacing me ( to wait for my sis ). He's now preparing the docs to apply for a passport.
I have 5 year B2 visa and 6 months I-94 expires 0ct 5, 2005.
also had canceled my return flight on May 2005.
Docs I have :
a. the extension of "leave of absence letter" from my employer in Indonesia.
b. Hospital and doctors notes of my ill sister
The reason I came to USA was to see my ill sister, and her condition is worse.
My sister is as important as my husband I left in Indonesia and my career.
As soon as my Dad arrives in US, I'll leave for Indonesia. But it takes time for him to apply for a passport and a visa.
Can anyone advice me, if my honest reason above is acceptable / reasonable.
