Is my application a EB2 one

The I140 receipt notice showed "Skilled worker and professional", does this mean my application is EB2 one for sure.

I know this sounds a silly question, I know my application is a EB2 one since day one of my application. But a lawyer within the law firm that handles my application said my application is a EB3 one, she never handles my application before, another lawyer did.

Can we tell application type from 140 receipt notice ? I am confused here.

from the receipt notice, it appears to be EB3. for EB2 is should say Advanced Degree or exceptional ability
please confirm with your attorney

Is it based on LC or 140

But my LC went through RIR processing, so my 140 is based on EB2 LC.

Don't know which category my application belongs to? EB2 or EB3.

ur 140 should corelate with your lc, if thats not true , you would generally get an RFE if the qualifications of lc and category of 140 are different.

But my 140 was approved a couple of days ago.

Really confused my applicaiton belongs to EB2 because of a EB2 LC, or belongs to EB3 because of EB3 140.

LC is not the stage where EB category is determined, it is I-140. Moreover RIR processing does not mean you will be in EB2. Your lawyer must have applied I-140 under EB3.
Does your LC state masters degree as a requirement?
