My current job description (on H1-B & GC applications) is for a Java Developer/Software Engineer - the focus is on implementation and coding.
I've been looking at positions in Product Management within my company, and wondered whether it would be possible to transfer to those positions under my current work authorization, since the job descriptions are different.
Would I need to file an amendment to LC, or start the GC process over from the beginning?
Visa bio: I'm currently in my 7th-year of H1-B status. My employer is sponsoring GC, I-140 is approved, priority date (01/2008) for I-485 is years away from processing.
