Is it true?

Someone told me that if you are on EAD and plan to travel India, then you need to get visa for all transit locations. Whereare if you are on H1B you don't need it.
 
it depends on the country that you are transitting at.
As the country's embassy or consulate about transit visa requirements, the air-line might also be able to help you

Let me clarify my question:

If you are on H1b visa and you intend to fly to India via - say South Africa - where there is no transit visa requirement for Indian nationals. Then you will not apply for transit visa as you have valid H1b visa.

However - same situation with EAD and using Advance Parole - someone told me that even if country(here South Africa) has no regulation for transit visa as such for you country, still you will need one as AP is not valid for transits. Did I make myself clear?
