myself and my collegue applied for I-140;
my collegue received RFE;( Ability to Pay)
RFE replied;
will my case be pending untill a decision on my collegue's case.
does it mean if my friends case is approved/denied; my case will will be treated based on his case descision.

I was in same situation for sometime. my coleague got I-140 RFE for 'Ability to pay' and after 2 weeks, I seen my LUD updates on I-140 couple of times, then no change. I was believing the same like you. but After 3 weeks I got the same RFE. May be the reason, his RFE reply was sent 4 weeks later, he sent reply and got my RFE on same day. If your friend RFE replied on time, you will be ok believe. otherwise, there is a possiblity of getting same RFE in your case too.
