I heard some people said if you used EAD, you cannot use H1 again. Can anybody here pointed out to me if this saying is true or not? If you have some links I can read, it would be fantastic.
That particular H1 would be invalid. In case you want to reapply for H1 again, it will be a fresh application and subject to the various caps. Anyone with a different opinion ?
For example, I worked for company A with H1. I started working for Company B with EAD before I quit company A. Is the H1 with company A still valid or not?
In case there is 1 or 2 weeks overlap (joined Company B but before quit company A), is there any problem?
Or, if I don't want to quit company A after one week I join company B. Can I still use the H1 or have to tell company A to let them use EAD?
Usage of the EAD invalidates the H1 immediately. You can work multiple jobs on an EAD. The day you used your EAD is the day your H1 would cease. Rejoining company A back would be on EAD only.
But 1 or 2 weeks overlap of H1B in company A and EAD in company B matters?
I think I read some stories in this forum like some folks working for a company with H1 and working for another ones with EAD. Correct me if I am wrong.
