IS it safe to go to canada with just passport stamped

I got my passport stamped. But I haven't received the cards yet. Is it safe to go to Canada and return back to US, without Plastic card. Guys let me know.

Dont worry, the Stamped Pasport entitled you same eligiablity/validity as Plastic Card does unless clearly specified any reason to restric travel on PP(which not in my best knowledge, happened to anyone haivng clean record).
